Elderly woman dies in Adelaide house fire

A 78-year-old woman who was pulled from a house fire in the Adelaide suburb of Glengowrie has died.

Police officers called to the house at 9.15pm last night rushed in and brought the woman out from a front room but despite the efforts of emergency crews to resuscitate her she died at the scene.

The fire is not considered suspicious and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
