Elderly SA man on cannabis charges

Eighty-seven cannabis plants have been seized from properties in Adelaide's north.

Police found 34 plants inside sheds at an industrial complex at Burton on Monday.

A 70-year-old Underdale man was charged with cultivating a commercial quantity of cannabis and will face the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on February 4.

Separately, 53 plants were found at a home in Salisbury Downs.

Officers are working to find the home's tenant.
