"It feels very good, very nice to see you guys again, I've missed you so much," Sam Clapton said.

Frederick Cheng, a frequent traveller, said the route offered convenience.

"It's different because I was here before with the connections through to San Francisco to Sydney, [Qantas from] Sydney to Adelaide, so this is much better," Cheng said.
