Damaging wind warning for parts of SA

Damaging winds, rain and hail are set to hit parts of South Australia.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Wednesday night for the northeast pastoral and northwest pastoral districts.

Areas that may be affected include the APY Lands, parts of the Great Victoria Desert, Moomba, Innamincka and the Strzelecki Track south of Moomba.

Residents should secure loose items and stay indoors during the storm, the State Emergency Service says.
