The case against a young man and woman charged with cyber crimes in Adelaide has been dropped by prosecutors.

Jake Anthony Parker Davis, 22, and Sarah Ruqayyah Salah, 23, were originally accused of deleting a student's university enrolments in five subjects and hacking his Facebook and email accounts in August 2014.

But prosecutors entered a notice in the District Court on Monday, withdrawing all eight counts of unauthorised modification of computer data for both Davis and Salah.
