Crop-spraying drone crashes, sparking grass fire in SA
A large crop-spraying drone crashed into powerlines sparking a grass fire near Mount Compass in South Australia.
The blaze came within metres of a home, with firefighters thankful today's relatively mild conditions were on their side.
The blaze has left a dairy farmer's paddock a field of ash.

"Get a load of this...It was caused by a f---- drone," one local said in footage of the fire.
The drone hit powerlines on the edge of a property on Nangkita Road, east of Mount Compass.
Firefighters rushed to the scene and blocked off nearby traffic.
Locals ran towards the smoke as they noticed it billowing from the hill after they lost power around 11.30am this morning.
The CFS were not far behind.

A "second alarm" was called as the fire threatened homes in the area.
Water bombers were also called in to help.
The fire came within 50 metres of the property owner's home.
"Conditions were blowing in the right direction so therefore it wasn't travelling very fast," firefighters told 9News.
The drone is now in the hands of investigators.
