Cop to resolve marital-collapse siege case
AAP
A senior South Australian policeman, who allegedly invaded his ex-wife's home and sparked a dramatic police siege, is negotiating with prosecutors to resolve the case.
Chief Inspector Ashley Francis Gordon, 54, is charged with being unlawfully on premises and threats to cause harm over the incident last August, which he says occurred during a meltdown over the end of his marriage.
His lawyer and prosecutors told Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday they are negotiating and expect to resolve the case soon.
