Man dead after car rolls into SA creek

A 33-year-old man has been charged after the car he was driving rolled into an Adelaide creek, killing his passenger.

The passenger, a 34-year-old man died at the scene south of the city on Tuesday night after the car left Pages Flat Road at Myponga.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was later charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The state's road toll now stands at 67 compared to 53 at the same time last year.
