Car hits two SA pedestrians, man arrested

A man has been arrested after the car he was driving hit two pedestrians in Adelaide.

A woman remains in the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious but stable condition with serious injuries from the crash near a pedestrian crossing on Kintore Avenue, on Thursday evening.

A male pedestrian who was also hit sustained minor injuries, police said.

A 20-year-old man from Mile End has been arrested and will face the Adelaide Magistrates Court on June 17 charged with aggravated driving without due care and disobeying a traffic signal.
