Business welcomes SA majority government

The election of a majority government in South Australia will provide the certainty in policy-making essential for building confidence, the state's peak business group says.

Business SA chief executive Nigel McBride says he's pleased the Liberals will be able to form government in their own right but says he's hoping both the government and the Labor opposition work in a bipartisan fashion to grow the state's economy.

"We can build an environment in which all business and employers of any size can thrive and create the positive future which all South Australians deserve," Mr McBride said on Sunday.
