Bushfire closes Nullabor highway in SA

An out of control bushfire has closed the Eyre highway on the Nullabor Plain and is set to burn to the cliffs on the Great Australian Bight.

The fire is burning near the Old Eyre Highway near the South Australian and West Australian border, with a wind change expected to push the fire in an east and northeast direction.

The highway is closed between Eucla in WA and the Nullarbor Roadhouse in SA.
