Boy on the run caught after NT crime spree

A 16-year-old boy who was on the run from an Alice Springs youth detention centre been taken into custody after an alleged three-day crime spree.
NT police believe the teenager broke into eight properties and stole three cars between Monday and Wednesday, after escaping the centre.
He is facing 31 charges linked with the thefts and will appear at the Alice Springs Youth Court on Friday.
