Boy, 12, in group Adelaide car chase

Five youths, including a 12-year-old, have been charged after several police chases with an allegedly stolen car used in a fuel drive-off and attempted burglary in Adelaide.

Police first tried to stop the car, stolen from a West Lakes Shore home, when it was being driven without headlights in Sefton about 4am on Sunday.

They again tried to stop it in Wynn Vale and it was followed through Port Wakefield, stopping when it ran out of fuel.

Five males - one aged 12, two 14-year-olds, a 15-year-old and one aged 17 - have been arrested and charged with multiple offences, including theft and trespass, and will appear in court at a later date.
