BMX biker suspected of serial assaults

A young man riding a BMX bicycle is believed to have indecently assaulted eight women over three months in northern Adelaide.

Police say the women were walking in the Mawson Lakes area between late October and January 13.

The assailant, who was passing by on the bike, is described as being about 18 years old, medium build with a tanned Caucasian appearance, short brown hair and usually wearing a baseball cap.

Most of the assault occurred in the late afternoon.
