Blaze rips through SA coastal holiday home

A fire has ripped through a holiday homes on the South Australian coast, while also damaging the neighbouring property.

The blaze caused extensive damage to a large two-storey house at Encounter Bay before firefighters were able to contain it on Friday evening, the Metropolitan Fire Service say.

Part of a neighbouring property was also damaged by the fire.
