Bill Clinton to launch Adelaide uni

Former US president Bill Clinton will officially launch Torrens University Australia in Adelaide on Thursday.

Mr Clinton is honorary chancellor of the Laureate International Universities network, which operates more than 75 higher education institutions.

They have more than 850,000 students in 29 countries and online.

The former president will discuss the future of global education at Thursday's launch at the Adelaide Festival Centre.

Other Laureate Australia-based teaching institutions include the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School and THINK Education.
