Battery drop-off in Adelaide CBD

A free battery and light globe recycling station has opened in the centre of Adelaide.

The trial site is the first in South Australia and could lead to further stations at government buildings, Environment Minister Ian Hunter says.

"We know the environment department staff like to lead by example so providing simple drop-off options to recycle batteries and light globes has been highly sought after," he says.
