Baby giraffes given African names

Adelaide's Monarto Zoo has given names to two baby giraffes born recently, taking inspiration from their African heritage.
The two boy giraffes have been named Thando and Mabuti. Thando means love in Zulu and Mabuti means boots in Swahili.
The giraffes were born two months ago and were the 40th and 41st delivered at Monarto, making its breeding program the most successful in Australia.
