Armed intruders assault SA man at home

A man has been assaulted by armed men in his Adelaide Hills home.

Three intruders, including one carrying a machete, threatened and hit the victim in the attack, at Bridgewater, about 3.30am on Saturday.

Police say the man, in his 40s, received cuts to his head and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives say they do not believe the attack was random. However, they are yet to interview the victim.
