Alleged Adelaide rapist to stand trial

An Adelaide man accused of raping and trying to rape several women over a seven-year period will stand trial.

Patrick Mark Perkins, 58, pleaded not guilty to one rape charge and four counts of assault with intent to rape when he faced the District Court on Friday. The attacks are alleged to have taken place in North Adelaide between 2005 and 2012.

Perkins was remanded in custody to go to trial in December 2017.
