Adelaide teen clocked at 79km/h over limit

An Adelaide teen has had his car impounded after he was caught driving at 79km/h above the speed limit.

Police clocked the 18-year-old driving at 129km/h in a 50km/h zone on Friday night on Clayson Road in Salisbury East.

Officers nabbed the man at his home in Wynn Vale a short time later. The teenager's car was impounded and he was summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
