Australia's 'best dunnies' named

Home to some of Adelaide's greatest natural attractions, Belair National Park near Adelaide now has another notch to add to its belt: Australia's most accessible toilet.

The Great Dunny Hunt 2023 crowned the South Australian throne after a two-month search to spread awareness for those struggling with incontinence.

The Continence Foundation found it hard to pass on the space, safety rails, design, and location of the loo.

The Great Dunny Hunt aims to build a database of public toilets - and then find the best.

Streaking ahead of almost 800 entries to equal first were two other porcelain paradises at Bundaberg Airport in Queensland and Lake Pertobe in Warrnambool, Victoria.

A total of one in four Australians are affected by incontinence - but the hunt information makes sure no one has to go in lieu of a loo.
