Adelaide meth driver clocked at 138km/h

An Adelaide man has tested positive to methamphetamine after being caught driving almost 60km/h over the speed limit, police say.

The 42-year-old was allegedly clocked at 138km/h in an 80km/h zone on Tapleys Hill Road near Adelaide Airport on Sunday night.

He was fined $1035 and stripped of his licence for 12 months and is likely to face court once forensic testing of his drug sample is completed.
