Adelaide man dies after assault, burglary

A man has died following a violent break-in at a home in Adelaide's north.

The 70-year-old died in hospital on Friday night, a week after he was assaulted in his Elizabeth South home by an intruder who stole his bank card and demanded his PIN.

Police on Saturday have released CCTV footage in the hopes of identifying a young man who they would like to speak to about the break-in.
