Adelaide goes green for Paris Agreement

Adelaide will be bathed in green light as the sun goes down on Friday, to celebrate the Paris Agreement coming into force.

The Adelaide Oval, the Adelaide Town Hall and the Riverbank precinct will join the ranks of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris in sending out the green signal.

South Australia last year became the first Australian state to sign up to the agreement, which commits signatories to keep global warming well below two degrees Celsius.
