Adelaide cops bitten during teen arrest

A teenage boy will face court accused of biting two police officers while being arrested in Adelaide.

The officers were each bitten on the arm as they tried to take the 15-year-old into custody at a Bunnings hardware store on Monday night but were not seriously hurt.

The boy was charged with aggravated assault causing harm, theft and resisting arrest and will appear in the Port Adelaide Youth Court on Tuesday.
