Four cyclists were killed and more than 500 injured on South Australian roads last year, police figures reveal.
Males accounted for almost 80 per cent of injured cyclists and most crashes occurred in Adelaide. Of the 510 accidents, 69 resulted in hospitalisation.
"This is an unacceptable toll and I believe we can do better as a community," Superintendent Anthony Fioravanti said on Friday.
