AAP
More than 200 trucks have been detected with problems, including brake and suspension issues and fuel leaks, in a crackdown on heavy vehicles in South Australia.
To date more than 1600 trucks have been inspected at three rural and four Adelaide locations during Operation Austrans, which has been under way since May.
A total of 240 were defective, with 100 of them having major defects, police say.
