A security review of Adelaide's police watch-house is underway after a self-confessed child sex offender was bashed.

Notorious bikie Bradley Daniele posted a video of CCTV footage on his Facebook page yesterday which shows a man being attacked in a shower cubicle.

The vicious assault only stops when an officer sprays what appears to be capsicum spray into the cubicle.

In his Facebook post, Daniele said he would not stand for kids being physically or mentally abused and would take the same action again "if I had the chance".

He is expected to face court later this month on an assault charge over the attack but said if he had to go to jail over the incident, "I will not lose any sleep".

His post attracted hundreds of comments, most praising him for his actions.

The reaction prompted him today, to thank people for their messages of support.

"I'm not here to spread violence or promote anything bad," he said.

"I'm only trying to spread the word about making the streets safe so kids can go to the playground without having to be scared of bad things happening."

In a statement, police said as a result of the incident in April, security measures at the watch-house were being reviewed.
