SA police officer denies abusing power

An Adelaide police officer has denied abusing public office and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Senior Constable Amanda Boughen, 40, of Mawson Lakes, pleaded not guilty in the District Court on Monday to the two charges, said to have occurred at Ingle Farm on May 6, 2010.
Boughen, who is suspended on full pay, was remanded on continued bail to appear in the same court on July 22 for a directions hearing.
