SA Libs to present petition to save Repat

The South Australian opposition will present an 85,000-signature petition to state parliament calling on the government to reverse its decision to close Adelaide's Repatriation General Hospital.

Opposition health spokesman Stephen Wade says another 30,000 people have signed other petitions since the SA government in March announced plans to close the hospital.

Mr Wade says South Australians don't buy the line that closing the Daw Park hospital and moving its services to other facilities will lead to better health outcomes for veterans and the wider community.
