SA house fire believed sparked by lighter

A house fire believed sparked by children playing with a lighter in Adelaide has caused an estimated $300,000 damage.

Fire crews were called to Tyrie Avenue in Finden just before 10am (CDT) on Saturday to find the house well alight, the Metropolitan Fire Service said.

The occupants of the home were evacuated before fire crews arrived and firefighters managed to save neighbouring houses from the blaze.

Fire investigators believe the fire was caused by children playing with a lighter.
