Rudd moves into TED's sphere

Kevin Rudd is moving onto the world stage with motivational speech organisation TED.

Modestly billed as an "international relations expert", the former prime minister is on the opening panel for the TED 2015 Truth and Dare conference in Vancouver, Canada this week.

Mr Rudd tweeted a photo of himself with TED boss Chris Anderson, "dotting the i's and crossing the t's on my #ted2015 speech" on Tuesday morning, Australian time.
