Rowdy session sees Dreyfus suspended

Shadow attorney-general Mark Dreyfus has been suspended from parliament after a ruling by Speaker Bronwyn Bishop.

Mr Dreyfus was "named" - resulting in a four-day suspension - during a rowdy session as Labor was questioning Prime Minister Tony Abbott about a visit to ASIO's headquarters in Canberra on Wednesday.

Labor deputy leader Tanya Plibersek was also suspended, but only for an hour, for shouting out: "Worst speaker ever."
