Man charged with 74-year-old's murder in Rockhampton

A 68-year-old man has been charged with murder over the death of a 74-year-old woman in Rockhampton, Queensland, last month.

The woman died in a Withers Street premises in Kawana on July 16.

The man remains in police custody ahead of his appearance in court today.

It will be alleged the pair are known to each other.
