Gun-wielding robber storms post office

CCTV has captured the moment a masked man used a gun to steal cash from a Melbourne post office.

Police said the offender entered the Neale Road shopping centre in Deer Park about 1.20pm on June 7.

Footage shows the hooded man walking towards the post office counter, where a female customer is being served.

He pushes past the woman, before unveiling a gun he to demand cash.

The attendant hands over money and the bandana-wearing offender flees the scene.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Detectives continue to search for the offender, who is described as having a Pacific Islander or Maori appearance and is about 175 centimetres tall with a medium build.
