Brazen road rage attack caught on camera in Brisbane’s north

Video has captured the moment an innocuous traffic accident escalated into a violent road rage incident in Brisbane.

A man was travelling along Old Northern Road in Albany Creek around 2.30pm yesterday, when his car bumped the rear of the vehicle ahead.

Moments after the minor incident, the man from the car in-front angrily emerged, hurling a tirade of insults at the unsuspecting driver.

Video filmed by the road rage victim shows the irate driver yelling insults, before physically attacking the other motorist.

The blue-shirted attacker is then seen taking the keys from the ignition of the other driver’s car.

The daughter of the road rage victim posted the clip on Facebook, revealing her father had just received treatment for a brain tumour.

“I am trying to convince my Dad to go to the police tomorrow but he is reluctant as most of the time people just get a slap on the wrist,” the post said.

Queensland Police confirmed they are yet to take action on the incident as an "official complaint is yet to be made".
