Man shot inside home in 'targeted' attack in Melbourne's east

Police are searching for two offenders after a man was shot inside a home in a suspected targeted attack in Melbourne's east overnight.
Detectives believe two men entered a home on Maidstone Street in Ringwood at about 3.10am.
The men discharged a firearm and fled the scene, shortly before police arrived.

A 27-year-old man was rushed to hospital with suspected non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said another man was home but wasn't injured.
Detectives believe the attack was targeted.
A crime scene has been established while officers from the Major Crime Scene Unit process the scene.
