Rescue for tradie who became trapped after falling from scaffolding

Authorities have performed a high angle rescue after a tradie became trapped after falling from scaffolding at a Melbourne building site.
Paramedics were called to the construction site at Market Street and Flinders Lane just before 11am.

It’s believed the man fell in a hard-to-reach spot below the ground level at the work site.
A rescue crew winched the man, who suffered rib and shoulder injuries, to safety.
He was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.
