Record 7.2 million visitors to Australia

Australia's tourism industry is going gangbusters with a record 7.2 million international arrivals last financial year.
There were record visitor arrivals from New Zealand, China, the United States, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Germany and Switzerland, the latest survey from Tourism Research Australia shows.
While backpacker numbers to the Northern Territory, Queensland and Victoria were down Tasmania and the ACT both had more than a 10 per cent increase.
