South Sydney Rabbitohs players Dylan Walker and Aaron Gray are in good condition in hospital and are now communicating with their families, the club said in a statement this morning.

The lifelong friends were watching movies in a granny flat at Gray’s Rosebery home on Monday night when they fell ill after a suspected prescription drug overdose.

They were taken to Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition and placed in induced comas.
