WHAT WE LEARNED

* Not everyone is experiencing a consistently high level of performance from the national disability insurance scheme, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull conceded to Andrew Wilkie after the independent MP raised the concerns of his Tasmanian constituents.

WHAT LABOR WANTED TO TALK ABOUT

Why is the prime minister wasting $122 million of taxpayers money on a pointless and unnecessary postal plebiscite on same-sex marriage when he could use that money to help fund this year's energy supplement for 334,000 pensioners?

THEY SAID WHAT
