Severe thunderstorm warning issued for south-east Queensland
Queensland's run of intense weather is set to continue, with parts of the state issued with a severe thunderstorm warning on Saturday afternoon.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) said at 4:10pm (local time) that a weather system was moving towards the Southern Downs area.
The BoM said the system is "likely" to bring damaging winds, large hailstorms and heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms, adding the rainfall could lead to flash flooding.

The BoM advised residents to take a number of precautions in the weather, including not going into floodwaters.
The latest weather warning comes even as floods continue to impact the state.
In the town of Goondiwindi, some vulnerable residents have already been evacuated as floodwaters rise to near-record levels.

More than 10,000 locals are on standby to evacuate as the river levels rise.
The town has been cut off, and homes flooded, as many prepare for days or potentially weeks of isolation.
