Police are warning motorists to be extra careful with the loads they are carrying after two incidences in Queensland.

Different trucks have been seen driving with unusually large loads, including one that ended up crashing.

One motorist said he tried repeatedly to warn a truck driver of the dangerous height of a digger being carried.

But the warnings went unheeded before the machinery slammed into an overpass on the Centenary Motorway.

The impact was caught on camera by a following vehicle.

"F--- yeah you got her, you f------- got her mate," the motorist can be heard saying after the impact.

In another instance on a Gold Coast highway, motorists were startled to see a truck driving towards Burleigh Heads with an unusually high load.

The vehicle looked like it could topple at any moment.

The truck continued driving along the highway, with its load staying intact.

Police have advised drivers to be weary of how much they're securing to the backs of their vehicles.
