Large screws left behind by ‘hoon gang’ in Redcliffe

A mass hoon rally involving dozens of cars and utes in a suburban street has been caught on camera.

CCTV shows sedans, four-wheel-drives and utes arriving in a street in Clontarf, Redcliffe, east of Brisbane, performing burn-outs for more than an hour.

Police have been called to the street several times to deal with hooning but local business owner Michael Horsburgh said the issue is getting worse.

In this incident, large screws were left scattered across the road.

“This is next level, this is pretty well a gang that have come down here and decided to cut loose,” Mr Hosburgh said.

The incident has been reported to local police who are yet to view the footage and were unavailable to comment today.
