Prisoner charged with inmate’s murder

A man has been charged over the death of Queensland prisoner.
A 27-year-old man was found unconscious in his cell at Borallon Training and Correctional Centre west of Brisbane about 5.30am on Saturday and could not be revived.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 42-year-old prisoner has been charged with his murder and appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court later today.
