Man stabbed in chest in Brisbane
A 38-year-old Brisbane man has been charged for allegedly stabbing another man in the chest during a brawl on George Street last night.
The altercation allegedly started with an argument between the two unknown men, around 8pm.

Police said when the second man, a 42-year-old from West End, attempted to leave, the other threatened him with a small knife, before allegedly stabbing him in the chest.
Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene, and the victim was treated for two chest puncture wounds and a gash on his leg.

He was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's hospital in a stable condition, with non-life threatening injuries.
The 38-year-old Brisbane city man was charged with grievous bodily harm and wounding and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today, October 22.
