The mother of a four-month-old girl who died in 2013 with horrific injuries is expected to be handed down a sentence over allegations of child cruelty.

It is alleged the woman failed to take her daughter to the hospital after she received a fractured arm.

The injury was received a week prior to her death.

Yesterday, the baby’s father pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of his baby daughter.
