Man busted with 93kg of cannabis at Queensland coronavirus border check
A Queensland man has been found with almost 100kg of cannabis at a border checkpoint set up to stop the spread of COVID-19.
The 31-year-old was on Wednesday pulled over at Tugun on the Gold Coast where police allegedly found 93 kilograms of cannabis.
Police say the haul has an estimated street value of $450,000.

Video footage released by police shows officers pulling several vacuum sealed bags of the drug from a trailer which had been towed by a Ford ute.
The Palm Beach man was arrested and charged with drug offences, and also fined $1334 for breaching a direction from the Chief Health Officer.
The man was bailed to appear at the Coolangatta Magistrates Court on July 6, 2020.
"In addition to the current biosecurity risks, police will remain vigilant to disrupt any criminal activity," said Detective Inspector Chris Ahearn.
