Queensland councils offering free and cheap school holiday programs to keep the kids busy

Queensland’s councils are encouraging families to use their free and low-cost activities to keep students entertained these school holidays.

Moreton Bay Regional Council alone is offering 140 activities in a bid to beat the boredom blues.

On the Gold Coast, activities include free movies, Lego workshops, and coding with robots classes.

In Logan, circus workshops, bike safaris, and fishing classes are on offer, while the Brisbane City Council has arranged more than 200 activities across its library network.
